Polish municipalities engage for energy security and a low carbon economy [1]

Is Poland really this climate sceptic and fossil-fuel oriented country that we often hear of? Fortunately, the local level tells a different story! Last week, 12 local authorities and partners from the Łódzkie voivodeship (central Poland) have signed a declaration showing their commitment for improved energy security and a low carbon economy. The declaration was the highlight of a three-days conference hosted by the Lodzkie region from 25-27 June 2014.
