Energy & climate 2030: Ban Ki-Moon urges the EU to reach an agreement [1]

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon called on the European Union leaders to speed up the adoption of new 2030 climate & energy targets and lead the global effort to deal with climate change.
On the occasion of a Friends of Europe debate "On the road to Paris 2015: Towards a new global climate deal" on 4 April 2014, Ban Ki-Moon expressed his concern about the EU struggling to reach an agreement on the energy & climate policy framework for 2030.
