Urban Age Governing Urban Futures Conference

14 November 2014 to 15 November 2014

New Dehli, India

Cities are going above and beyond laws and regulations set in place at the national level when it comes to sustainable development.  The 2014 Urban Age Governing Urban Futures Conference, in partnership with the National Institute of Urban Affairs, will allow city stakeholders to explore the link between urban governance and the ability to transfer knowledge that can aid in shaping cities into more sustainable ones through innovative initiatives. This conference is built upon the Urban Age network that was established in 2005. During this conference, speakers will aim to showcase how to overcome current government obstacles to sustainable development and align key policy issues with post-carbon transitions in the ares of sustainable growth, innovative infrastructure and social inclusion.
